Family run barber shop to open at Tadpole Garden Village

There’s no place like home for family run barber business at Tadpole Garden Village

The business community at our Tadpole Garden Village is being boosted – thanks to the opening of a family-run barber business next month.

With the road map out of lockdown allowing hairdressers and barbers to welcome back customers from April 12 – well-known resident Duvi and his wife Rita will be ready for business!

A traditional barbers with a modern twist, the business will open at one of the retail units at the garden village; meaning that Duvi and his family can live and work in one fantastic location.

The couple and their two children moved to TGV in 2017, with the style of homes, ponds and other beautiful open spaces attracting them to the aspirational area.

Rita said: “We must have driven through TGV for two years, admiring the houses and driving past the ponds telling our son, one day, we’ll live here. We knew TGV would be the ideal place to have the kind of barbers we wanted, a community-based environment, that is fun, friendly and comfortable for our customers. We love the village, and we love the people here – so for us there was never any place we’d rather be.”

With many years’ experience in the trade, Duvi has been a barber since the age of 15 – brushing up on his talents over the years by working in a range of popular barber shops.

However, it is now the lucky residents of Tadpole Garden Village that are benefitting from his craft, many of whom have been pampered by Duvi in recent years.

Joining Duvi in the business will be Rita, who with over 20 years of customer service experience, will be running the day-to-day management of the shop. And with her barber training in progress, she hopes to join the cutting crew very soon.
