Damian Tusting – Customer Account Manager

As part of Preim’s continuing expansion in the area of customer care, we are delighted to welcome Damian to the team. We find out a little more about his role.

Q: Welcome to Preim – can you tell us a little about your role with the company and what your responsibilities are?

I work in the residential leasehold management department and will be the main point of contact for leaseholders relating to day-to-day management items such as repairs and maintenance of communal areas as well as service charge queries.

Q: What previous experience do you have / what did you do before joining Preim?

I have recently relocated from London to join Preim. When I left university, my career started working as an investment broker in Canary Wharf for residential developer clients seeking private funding for new build projects in the North of England.

Moving on from this, I made a change in career path to residential block management and have been doing so for over four years with several companies before joining Preim.

I have experience with a vast scale of residential blocks of flats in terms of unit sizes, from two flats above a commercial unit to multi block estate with over 250 units with many different on-site facilities.

Q: How do you see your role making a difference to residents and / or other members of the Preim team?

From my experience working in London, the key thing I have found with clients, leaseholders and residents, is that they really want from their agent is action, clarity and communication. This is known to be an area which falls short industry wide.

Q: Can you tell us a little about your interests or hobbies outside of work?

In my spare time, I play five aside football, going to the golf driving range (even though I am not very good!), and travelling abroad and in the UK.
