With a focus on high quality service delivery to residents, Preim has welcomed family man and rugby fan Phil Brown to the role of Customer Account Manager.

We are delighted to welcome Phil Brown as our new Customer Account Manager. We catch up with Phil to find out more about his role:

Phil-Brown

Phil Brown – Customer Account Manager

Q: Hi Phil, welcome to Preim – can you tell us a little about your role with the company and what your responsibilities are?

My main role will be to oversee the day-to-day management of several non-leasehold developments. Whilst my responsibilities will include liaising with residents and contractors, setting budgets and managing these, the overall aim is to ensure that the residents are happy with the standards of maintenance and the tangible items they can see at their development.

Q: What previous experience do you have and what did you do before joining Preim?

I have worked in residential management for six years as a property manager coming from a background of operational management in the leisure industry. I initially started with a small managing agent looking after leasehold properties and then worked with one of the largest managing agents in the country, managing a bigger leasehold portfolio before coming to Preim.

I had looked after a handful of non-leasehold developments as part of my previous portfolios and really enjoyed this aspect of the industry, so coming to Preim to purely focus on this area has been a breath of fresh air.

Q: How do you see your role making a difference to residents and other members of the Preim team?

I believe in being completely open and honest with residents and Management Company directors who ultimately make the decisions regarding the developments they live in. It is also extremely important to keep residents updated on any reported issues, even if there is no significant news to feed back. Communication is key.

I have always strived to fit in and interact with a new work team and new colleagues. I hope that I can make a positive impact to the running of the business.

Q: Can you tell us a little about your interests or hobbies outside of work?

Having two young daughters really keeps me on my toes much of the time. Spending quality downtime with them is important to me, along with catching up with friends and family when I can.

I am a fan of Bedford Rugby Club so enjoy watching their home games at Goldington Road!
