Fenne Horne Celebrates Exam Success and Becomes Affiliate of TPI

We are delighted to announce that our Assistant Property Manager, Fenne Horne, has been awarded Affiliate status by The Property Institute (TPI).

TPI originates from the merger of The Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) and The Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) in March 2022.

Since joining the Institute, Fenne has completed 15 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and recently passed her first Affiliate foundation level exam.

This achievement is a testament to Fenne’s dedication to expanding her knowledge in the field of residential property management, and the first stepping-stone in moving up through the Institute.

Reaching this milestone in a relatively short space of time in the industry was no small feat. Fenne said the hands-on experience gained from working directly with a leasehold portfolio means that “every day is a school day,” and her day-to-day responsibilities and ‘real-life’ applications of knowledge helped prepare her for the exam.

Achieving Affiliate status has broadened Fenne’s understanding of legislation and health and safety regulations concerning leasehold properties which will allow her to better assist Preim’s customers and support her colleagues more effectively.

Fenne is not stopping here. She plans to begin studying for the level 3 qualification (Member status) as soon as possible, continuing her professional development within the property management industry.

In her current role, Fenne assists one Property Manager and two Estate Managers with their portfolios. She interacts with customers, liaises with contractors and ensures planned maintenance is completed on time. As a special project, Fenne has also recently begun working closely with the allotment society at our Houlton development to help them manage the allotments as we enter the growing season!

Fenne said her favorite aspect of working at Preim is how the company “strives to deliver excellent customer service to its residents, more so than other companies in the industry.”

Fenne’s new Affiliate status is a significant achievement that not only highlights her hard work and expertise but also enhances the level of service we can provide to our customers.
