Each summer, some amazing volunteer residents at our Kilnwood Vale development, near Horsham, organise a fantastic fun day for all the family. This year was no exception.
Despite a few English summer downpours, residents were out in force to support local businesses who were amongst those exhibiting on one of the development’s large open spaces. It was an opportunity for all to celebrate the growing development, meet neighbours and enjoy the outdoors.
This year’s event saw support from several local businesses – including Dorking Brewery and Mr Gin, which both supplied refreshments on the day. Urban Street Chef, Kilnwood Creperie and Macs Ices were also there to provide tasty treats for those attending. Bouncy castles were provided by Morris Bros and Sons, and a DJ, various raffles, and a face painting tent added to the fun.
A very special thanks to all our local stall holders, who kindly provided raffle prizes on the day.
The event was organised by the developments Resident Committee who tirelessly gave up their time and energy to volunteer and co-ordinate proceedings in the run up to the day and during the event itself. The event couldn’t happen without them, and they really are champions of the Kilnwood Vale community.
This year’s event raised £430 which has been split between two fantastic local charities, Ten Little Toes Baby Bank in Cowfold, and Holbrook Animal Rescue in Horsham.
As well as three members of the Preim team attending on the day to answer any questions residents might have regarding the management of the development, we were also very pleased to makea donation to the fundraising total. It was great to enjoy some face-to-face time with our residents and experience the true community spirit of Kilnwood Vale.
Preim has proudly been the managing agent at Kilnwood Vale for 7 years, and during this time we’ve overseen the handover from housebuilders of many phases of the development and we look forward to continuing to do so until the development is completed.
