Resurfacing works recently carried out within the Bordon Estate have resulted in quite a transformation on the site’s Kildare Road. The work has ensured the long-term functionality and safety of this key access route, shared with the Bordon Garrison Pre-School and Creche.
The Bordon Estate comprises several residential areas, including Kildare Close, Lamerton Close, and Essex and Garth Close. While the recent works focused specifically on Kildare Road, this section of the estate holds particular importance as it serves both residents and the nursery.
Although the nursery itself is not part of the estate, ensuring a well-maintained shared access route was a priority to support the convenience and safety of all who use it.
The resurfacing project was undertaken to address wear and tear, ensuring a smoother surface for vehicles and pedestrians.
The works have not only enhanced the appearance of the road but also improved its safety, especially for families and young children accessing the nursery.
Estate Manager, Damian Tusting said, “The transformation of the road is really quite remarkable. We've improved the safety and overall look and feel of the road and development for the benefit of residents and the wider community.
Thanks to residents for their cooperation during the project and we are already seeing the positive impact of these improvements on day-to-day life at the Bordon Estate.”
Preim remains committed to maintaining high standards across all the estates we manage. Projects like these highlight our focus on delivering practical solutions that benefit both residents and the broader community.
