Held in Longbridge near Birmingham, the annual event - expertly organised by St Modwen - aims to raise funds for LandAid, a leading UK charity dedicated to ending youth homelessness.
Over 400 property professionals of all ages and abilities took on a 5km or 10km challenge, either running or walking. In addition to the individual achievements, teams of colleagues, families, and friends joined forces, creating an infectious atmosphere of camaraderie and enthusiasm, including those supporting from the sidelines.
This year, the event exceeded its ambitious fundraising target of £50,000 for LandAid.
As a close partner of St. Modwen, we were excited to support such an important event that encourages people to make a real difference.
This year, we particularly wanted to acknowledge the dedication and effort of the individual who went above and beyond to support LandAid and St Modwen in both completing the Charity Run and securing the highest amount of funds raised for the charity.
Our sponsorship of the 'Highest Individual Sponsorship Total' award highlights just this and was particularly well deserved this year. The recipient, Nisha Mistry from Hydrock (now Stantec), raised an outstanding £944, which will significantly contribute to LandAid's mission to provide secure housing and opportunities for vulnerable young people.
The event not only raised important funds for those in need, but also fostered a sense of togetherness - values that Preim and St. Modwen both prioritise in the work within the communities we serve.
