Community Engagement: A Year in Review

At Preim, we believe that building strong, connected communities goes beyond property management. We’re proud to do as much as we can to support the communities we serve by giving back through donations to community-led events and important local causes.

We are delighted to have contributed to a wide range of projects and initiatives across the developments we manage throughout 2024, helping bring residents and communities together.

From festive celebrations to sports club sponsorships, here are some of the highlights:

• We supported the Forge Wood, Scampton & Oakham developments with litter-picking initiatives, providing litter-picking kits to help residents keep these neighbourhoods clean and foster a sense of pride in their surroundings. We even sent some head office staff along to Oakham for the day, to undertake a site wide litter-pick.
• Kingsgrove saw its football club receive sponsorship, boosting local sports and community engagement.
• We helped the Houlton development put on a summer fun day, and donated funds to other developments, such as Tadpole Garden Village and Kilnwood Vale as they hosted seasonal summer events, bringing residents together to celebrate and connect.
• The residents of Tadpole Garden Village were also supported with their Streetlight Poppy Appeal, helping residents commemorate Remembrance Day.
• Fairfield Gardens’ bowls team – an important community fixture - received a welcome boost to their activities with a Preim donation.
• Eight of our developments will be presented with a Christmas tree for their communal outdoor spaces – a perfect gathering point for festive events throughout December.
• We were also very happy to support our developer partners such as Crest Nicholson with Just Giving donations as well as sponsorship of St. Modwen’s annual fundraising charity run.

In addition, we donated to causes within the local community, such as our sponsorship of new kits for the Peterborough Athletic Under-8s team.

We have several exciting events planned for the rest of the year, including festive celebrations and gatherings.
