Houlton: A New Lease of Life

Set within 1,200 acres of open space, Houlton is a ground-breaking development that embraces sustainability, the value of green space and community engagement. Being built upon the old site of the iconic Rugby Radio Station – previously home to the world’s most powerful radio transmitter that was the first to speak to America via the airwaves –  this is a significant regeneration development that will transform the brownfield land into a community that people are proud to call home.

Led by master developers, Urban&Civic, the development is transforming every day as it grows – with Preim on hand to deliver placekeeping and maintenance of key amenities.

Green space management and placekeeping to help realise the Houlton vision

Preim was appointed as managing agent for Houlton in 2018 and since then has seen key community amenities introduced early in the growth of the development. Before residents moved into their new homes, Houlton boasted a popular café and community space, along with parks and green spaces – a clear demonstration of how integral community assets are to this new development.

Preim has been responsible for delivering green space and communal amenity maintenance at Houlton since these very early days – with our scope for delivery growing as the community welcomes more and more residents. Working closely with Urban&Civic, we focus on creating a place that fulfils their vision and which residents are proud to call home.
